Architect

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Architect with advanced BIM expertise to join our Colombo-based team. You will lead and deliver Dubai-based projects while collaborating remotely with international teams. The role requires a blend of creative design, technical proficiency, and project management to guide projects from concept to handover, ensuring full compliance with Dubai regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Documentation
• Lead all stages of design: concept, schematic, detailed, and construction documentation.
• Produce and supervise high-quality drawings and specifications aligned with Dubai construction standards.
• Provide innovative design solutions integrating architectural and structural elements.
• Project Management
• Manage Dubai-based projects from Sri Lanka, overseeing schedules, deliverables, and team performance.
• Present design proposals to clients and authorities virtually and on-site as required.
• Review designs, allocate tasks, and maintain quality across project phases.
• Compliance & Coordination
• Ensure designs meet Dubai Municipality regulations and relevant international codes.
• Liaise with Dubai authorities, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams across time zones.
• Participate in technical meetings, both virtually and on-site when necessary.
• BIM & Digital Development
• Drive BIM standards, documentation, and workflow automation.
• Support the company’s BIM roadmap and contribute to the Lessons Learned database.
• Site & Travel
• Travel to Dubai for site surveys, inspections, and key project milestones when required.
