This is a senior academic and administrative role that requires vision, innovation, and leadership to drive excellence in teaching, research, and industry collaboration within the School of Computing.

Role Overview

The Head of School – Computing will be responsible for providing academic leadership, strategic direction, and operational management for all computing and IT-related programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team to strengthen the university’s position as a leader in technology education, while also fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire faculty members and administrative staff within the School of Computing.
• Oversee curriculum design, academic delivery, and program accreditation in line with international standards.
• Promote cutting-edge research, innovation, and knowledge transfer in computing and emerging technologies.
• Develop and strengthen industry linkages, research collaborations, and global academic partnerships.
• Ensure high-quality student outcomes, focusing on employability, practical exposure, and academic excellence.
• Contribute to the university’s long-term strategic plan and play an active role in institutional governance.
