Our client is a leading automobile company seeking for a Deputy General Manager – Marketing who will lead and execute marketing strategies with a strong focus on brand management, corporate communications, and market positioning. The role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and proven experience in building strong brand equity, enhancing corporate image, and driving integrated marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Strategic Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement branding strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence.
  • Ensure consistency in brand identity across all platforms, communications, and campaigns.
  • Conduct regular brand audits and competitor benchmarking to maintain brand relevance.

2.Communications & Public Relations

  • Oversee corporate communications, media relations, and public relations activities.
  • Manage internal and external communication strategies to align with company values.
  • Build strong relationships with media, agencies, and industry stakeholders.

3.Campaign Management

  • Conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, and digital).
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness using KPIs and analytics to optimize results.
  • Oversee creative development for advertisements, promotional materials, and digital content.

4.Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Drive the company’s digital marketing presence, including social media, website, and online campaigns.
  • Ensure digital brand consistency and leverage new-age communication tools.
  • Monitor online reputation and ensure proactive engagement with audiences.

5.Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and guide the marketing and communications team.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and business unit heads to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external creative, PR, and digital agencies.

Pre Requisites

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10–12 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in branding, corporate communications, and campaign management.
