Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Factory / Plant Accountant to join a leading fabric manufacturing organization. This role will focus on managing financial operations at the plant level, controlling production costs, and supporting management in strategic decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plant-level accounting functions, including cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, performance reports, and cost analysis for the production and operations teams.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales departments to monitor manufacturing costs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend optimization measures.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking KPIs for plant operations.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely financial information.

Pre Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CIMA/ACCA/CA intermediate/part-qualified preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in management accounting, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, production processes, and financial planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across plant functions.
