Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a leading hotel chain seeking for a visionary General Manager with strong leadership and hands-on operational management for a premium hospitality property, leveraging international best practices to enhance service quality, brand positioning, and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Strategic Operations Management

  • Lead all aspects of hotel/resort operations, ensuring excellence in service, guest satisfaction, and efficiency across departments.
  • Apply knowledge and insights gained from international hospitality operations to elevate standards and competitiveness.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for guest experience, cost control, and operational excellence.

2. Financial Leadership & Business Planning

  • Drive financial performance through sound budget management, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Leverage overseas exposure to implement global revenue management and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor P&L, identify variances, and take corrective actions to improve profitability.

3Guest Experience with Global Standards

  • Champion a service culture aligned with international luxury or upper-midscale expectations.
  • Ensure the property consistently meets or exceeds global guest experience benchmarks (e.g., Forbes, TripAdvisor, OTA reviews).
  • Resolve guest concerns swiftly, using cultural sensitivity and international service etiquette.

4.Team Leadership & International Exposure

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a multicultural team across departments.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive culture based on global hospitality principles.
  • Implement international learning and development programs to uplift team capabilities.

5.Sales, Marketing & Brand Development

  • Drive business growth by tapping into international markets, corporate accounts, and travel networks.
  • Collaborate with digital, MICE, and OTA partners to attract foreign guests and expatriate clientele.
  • Represent the property in regional and global hospitality events and platforms.

6. Governance, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, health & safety, and international hospitality standards.
  • Lead sustainability efforts and green certifications aligned with global trends.
  • Maintain internal control systems and audit readiness across all functions.

Pre Requisites

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Business; MBA or post-grad qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in hospitality, including at least 3–5 years in an overseas General Manager or senior leadership role.
  • Experience managing operations in luxury resorts, business hotels, or international chains
