The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end operational oversight including production, planning, quality, supply chain, industrial engineering, and compliance to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and product excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Production & Manufacturing Oversight
- Lead and manage day-to-day plant operations for denim/jeans production units.
- Ensure consistent productivity, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee stitching, washing, finishing, and packing departments with denim-specific know-how.
2. Planning & Execution
- Develop production plans based on orders and forecasts.
- Coordinate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and procurement teams.
- Ensure effective capacity planning and optimization of available resources.
3. Quality Assurance & Control
- Implement rigorous quality control procedures across all production lines.
- Ensure adherence to buyer quality standards for denim and woven products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve recurring quality issues proactively.
4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Manage raw material flow, trims, and accessories to avoid production delays.
- Optimize inventory levels while minimizing wastage.
