Roles & Responsibilities
The Group Internal Audit Manager will lead and manage internal audit functions for a prominent multinational organization. This role involves overseeing the audit process across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and providing strategic recommendations for operational improvements. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in internal audits, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and be prepared for international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal audit strategies and plans for the group.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
- Identify and assess risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and review audit processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of internal auditors.
- Travel to various regions as required to perform audits and support regional teams.
Pre Requisites
- CA/CIMA/ACCA Full or Part Qualified. Bachelor’s degree in Finance is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 – 8 years + experience in internal audits at a manager level, with a proven track record in managing complex audit functions.
- Willingness to travel internationally, including to Asian and African regions as required.
- Experience in handling group-level audits is advantageous
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
