Job Brief

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, manage and review the company’s digital strategy in line with organizational values, business objectives and priorities
  • Implement an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders. Maintain strong knowledge of emerging external trends in digital technology solutions
  • Lead the organization in maximizing the opportunities of digital working cultures by shaping the skills, processes, people and tools we use to deliver the business objectives. Create and imbed a prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities
  • Lead a team that project manages and delivers digital solutions using a range of techniques to responsively and effectively pilot and where applicable, successfully implement the platforms
  • Problem solves with the needs of the end customer in consideration at all times, ensuring solutions deliver and enhance their experience
  • Effectively manages the team to drive engagement, performance management, teamwork and flexibility
  • Acts as coach/mentor to team members and supports each individual’s development
  • Program manages the overall digital implementation plan to ensure all technology solutions are project managed effectively, are delivered on time and within cost. Supports Team members to ensure they identify risks, contingency plans and engage with stakeholders for effective collaboration
  • Works closely with internal Procurement Team to negotiate relevant digital solutions and services with external vendors. This will include negotiation of costs, contracts, services etc

Pre Requisites

  1. Recognized Degree in Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  2. Proven track record in a senior management digital transformation position within a multinational company
  3. 10+ years’ digitalization experience, 5+ years Project Management experience and proven track record on delivering complex projects
  4. Experience of having designed, implemented and evaluated organizational transformation digital solutions and has delivered large scale change that added value to the organization
  5. Highly effective change agent who engages with senior stakeholders to deliver the digital program to the organization.
  6. Benchmarking skills and identifies best practice and knowledge of the digital landscape of organizations
  7. High degree of budget management experience associated with digital technology design and its adaptation
  8. Has strong relationships with approved vendors and with software suppliers of digital services to ensure effective delivery of digital technologies/systems
