Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Head of Marketing to spearhead the market and brand strategy for a pioneering sustainable mobility company. The primary focus will be on dominating for 2-Wheelers and 3-Wheelers across Sri Lanka.

This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role designed for an individual who can build a powerful national brand from the ground up, utilizing a performance-driven marketing approach in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Brand & Market Leadership

  • Vision & Strategy: Define, own, and execute the end-to-end marketing and branding strategy to establish the company as the clear market leader in the EV 2W and 3W categories.
  • Brand Architecture: Develop and institutionalize the core brand identity, value proposition, and communication messaging for a tech-forward, sustainable mobility future.
  • Market Intelligence: Lead competitive analysis and consumer insights gathering to deeply understand the Sri Lankan consumer journey, purchase triggers, and address points of anxiety (e.g., charging, range).

Integrated Campaigns & Performance

  • Go-To-Market (GTM): Oversee and direct comprehensive GTM plans for all new product launches, ensuring maximum media impact and lead generation across the island.
  • Digital Leadership: Drive all digital marketing, including performance campaigns (SEM/PPC), social media, content strategy, and CRM integration, with a mandate to deliver measurable ROI and quality leads to the sales funnel.
  • Channel Activation: Partner with the Sales and Distribution teams to create effective Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing, dealership branding, and regional promotional activities.

Pre Requisites

  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in Marketing and Brand Management.
  • Must have 3+ years’ proven experience operating as a Marketing Manager, Senior Brand Manager, or a comparable leadership role.
  • Essential experience in the Automotive/Vehicle sector (2-Wheeler, 3-Wheeler, Passenger Vehicles, or Heavy Machinery). Exposure to the Electric Vehicle (EV) domain is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Brand Strategy, Digital Marketing, budget management, and leading high-performance teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business. Professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM, SLIM) is highly preferred.
