- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Printing Technology Engineering (or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in the printing and packaging industry with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Head of Production & Planning will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process and planning operations within the printing and packaging unit. The role requires strong technical expertise in printing technologies, flexible and rigid packaging processes, and a solid grasp of quality control, lean manufacturing, and resource optimization. The candidate will be expected to lead cross-functional teams, ensure efficient scheduling, and maintain high productivity and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Production Management
- Lead and supervise daily plant operations in printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch-making (or other relevant processes).
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printing presses, packaging machines, and ancillary equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
2. Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and manage production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and shift scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate raw material and consumable requirements with the supply chain and procurement departments.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations and customer complaints.
- Work closely with QA/QC to ensure inline and final product inspections meet required specifications.
4. Technical & Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, automation, and process enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Recommend and implement technical upgrades in machinery and equipment.
5. Team Leadership & Training
- Manage and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, operators, and planning executives.
- Conduct technical training sessions for staff on machine handling, process parameters, and safety protocols.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.
