Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be fully responsible for operating and managing the school/department, while directly reporting to the Dean and managing a team of faculty members and Program Coordinators
  • Provide leadership to the faculty by ensuring academic excellence, managing programmes delivered, be involved in the hiring process of relevant staff, and upholding high standards for Teaching and Learning
  • Liaise with partner University on matters related to curriculum, academic planning, and grades
  • Set improvement goals and explore new initiatives with support available from Programme Coordinators
  • Analyze student feedback, resolve grievances, and create an environment for all students to excel
  • Develop Academic Calendars, Hiring Plans and Course Schedule for all programmes delivered
  • Take full responsibility of the modules taught, conduct and mark assessments as per the approved guidelines
  • Promote research activities and provide opportunities for students/staff to engage in research conferences, symposiums,and competitions

Pre Requisites

  • Must have a PhD in the relevant field (Computing / Engineering) from a recognized local or international University
  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience as head of department, coordinator, academic lead etc.
  • Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, and research at tertiary education level
  • Strong track record of guiding students with diverse backgrounds, improving student satisfaction, and industry engagement
