Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process and leading learning and development initiatives to build a skilled, engaged, and high-performing workforce in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational expertise to support organizational growth and workforce capability building.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to meet the manpower requirements across all departments, including shop floor and technical roles.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand to attract top industry talent.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles and future needs through proactive sourcing and networking.
  • Partner with external recruitment agencies, job portals, technical colleges, and vocational training institutes.

Learning and Development (L&D):

  • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultation with line managers.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate technical and soft-skills training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Develop career progression plans and employee development initiatives, especially for critical and skilled roles in production.
  • Coordinate external training programs, certifications, and technical upskilling as needed.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training through performance tracking and feedback.
  • Maintain L&D documentation, including training calendars, attendance, and evaluation records.

General HR Responsibilities:

  • Support organizational development initiatives and change management.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
  • Provide guidance to line managers on HR matters including performance management, employee relations, and retention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare regular reports and dashboards for management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience: 6–10 years of HR experience with a strong focus on talent acquisition and L&D, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, psychometric assessments, and L&D methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
