Roles & Responsibilities
As a Junior Process Engineer, you will champion operational excellence by driving process enhancements and efficiency improvements across the plant. You’ll act as a key change agent—introducing modern manufacturing practices, training teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement that strengthens both operational and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in improvement projects and task forces, applying Lean and Operational Excellence methodologies to deliver measurable, sustainable results.
- Process Optimization: Develop and implement process controls, SOPs, and manufacturing instructions to boost material utilization and production efficiency.
- Data-Driven Solutions: Use root cause analysis, 5S, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and track progress.
- Innovation & Best Practice: Recommend and introduce new technologies, equipment, or work methods to enhance productivity and quality.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from concept and scope development through installation, start-up, and final acceptance.
- Coaching & Training: Design and deliver training programs to upskill plant personnel in continuous improvement principles and problem-solving techniques.
Pre Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Science, Physics, or NDT or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of production processes and continuous improvement principles.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (or higher) certification or formal training in Lean/continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on complex production metrics.
- Proven operational caliberumb with a track record of improving efficiency and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems is an advantage.
