Role Overview

We are seeking a business-minded, analytical, and improvement-focused leader to join as Assistant Manager – Business Operations & Analytics. The incumbent will drive operational excellence, manage P&L, lead teams, and continuously improve processes to ensure targets are met and business growth is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Operational P&L & Business Accountability

  • Take full ownership of operational P&L, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets.
  • Monitor and enforce financial and operational KPIs across recruitment operations.

Project & Process Management

  • Lead cross-functional projects related to recruitment operations, process improvement, and client deliverables.
  • Plan, organize, and execute initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) for operational efficiency.
  • Standardize best practices and workflows across teams for consistent, scalable outcomes.

Mandate & Client Excellence

  • Manage active mandates in the pipeline, ensuring closure rates are met or exceeded.
  • Deliver high-quality executive search services to clients.
  • Maintain and enhance quality standards throughout the recruitment cycle.

Process Creation & Continuous Improvement

  • Design and implement new workflows and methodologies in line with business needs and client expectations.
  • Apply continuous improvement practices (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
  • Standardize best practices across teams for consistent results.

Business Analytics & Insights

  • Apply business analyst skills to evaluate individual and team performance ratios.
  • Build and maintain Excel dashboards, pivot tables, and KPI trackers for real-time performance monitoring.
  • Provide numbers-driven insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Present data-backed reports in structured review meetings.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate Talent Acquisition and Business Coordinator teams.
  • Conduct training sessions, skill-building workshops, and motivational programs.
  • Hold structured review meetings to track performance and align teams with business goals.
  • Foster a high-energy, accountable, and growth-oriented culture.
  • A leadership role with direct responsibility for operational P&L, analytics, and process improvement.

Pre Requisites

  • Diploma /. Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • 4–6 years’ experience in recruitment operations, client service, or business analytics.
  • Proven ability to manage operational P&L and deliver on financial targets.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret numbers and drive performance.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivots, dashboards, reporting).
  • Skilled in mandate management, process improvement, and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
  • Energetic, meticulous, and passionate about aligning people performance with business outcomes.
