Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of our sewing machines, finishing equipment, cutting machines, and other apparel production machinery. The role is critical in ensuring uninterrupted production operations, minimizing machine downtime, and implementing effective maintenance systems to support the company’s production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance, servicing, and calibration of sewing machines, cutting machines, finishing machines, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in machinery, ensuring timely corrective action.
• Maintain detailed records of machine breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Support the production team by providing quick technical solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all machines and equipment comply with safety and operational standards.
• Recommend improvements in machinery, tools, and spare parts management to optimize performance.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and spare parts procurement.
• Train and guide machine operators on proper handling and basic upkeep of equipment.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to increase machine efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
• Adhere to company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines.
