Job Brief

The purpose of this role is to lead capability for data driven decisions & fast cycle time,

•Evolving and where necessary building analytical capabilities

•Ensuring, data integrity for robust critical decision making all times

•Establishing, robust framework for governance and control for compliance

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Understand the internal and external analytics needs and craft a data strategy for company and continue to improve the strategy with global knowledge &Develop and support effective business intelligence strategies and analytics solutions for group sourcing and supply chain.

 

·         Driving the adoption of data driven decisions by improving awareness and buy in of the leadership and operational teams to make informed decisions

·         Working in collaboration with technology services team to ensure, historical data is collected, digitized, and stored in the right format, in the right platform that helps data retrieval faster and efficient.

·         Collaborate with external parties to bring the best in class analytics knowledge and tools to company

·         Facilitate business to understand resolve business problems though concepts of Data Science and technology

·         Provide Insights from available data that can help business in better informed decision making

·         Building capabilities across the group to ensure business units within company have the right knowledge and the tools to capture, visualize their data or operational decisions

·         Responsible for applying data governance framework including the management of data, operating model, data policies and standards as well as the application of clearly defined data management definitions for use across the Supply chain of company.

 

·         Apply a data governance framework, with a focus on continued improvement of data quality and strict adherence to the agreed Trust and Classification processes. 

 

·         Designs, develops and programs methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyse structured and unstructured data from diverse sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement

 

·         Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding , following, Group/company polices & procedures*, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.

 

Pre Requisites

  • Degree/ MBA in Statistics/ Decisions Science/ Analytics or Business Management
  • 6+ years’ experience in working in the field of Data Science
  • 6-8 years’ experience in senior managerial position
  • Excellent skills in communication (verbal & written)
