Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager Costing to join the finance team of a leading manufacturing company in the Southern Province. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, cost control, and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide insightful financial and cost analysis to support business performance improvement.
- Develop and monitor standard costing models, variance reports, and product profitability analyses.
- Partner with production and operational teams to drive cost efficiency and process optimization.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in implementing internal controls and system enhancements within the finance function.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making through timely financial reporting and scenario analysis.
Pre Requisites
- Fully qualified CIMA (UK) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in management accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
