Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Manage logistics operations, including the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping companies to optimize transportation strategies and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in procurement and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of operations, shipments, and inventory.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in procurement and logistics, fostering a culture of excellence.
Pre Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on procurement and logistics within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics management, and freight forwarding.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex operational challenges and develop strategic solutions.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and drive results.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the automobile industry is preferred.
