Job Brief

Textile Institute (of excellence by providing contemporary international standard industry oriented technical education in the field of Textile and RMG sector through excellent teaching and interaction with local and foreign industries and institutions.

Management is seeking the highly qualified candidate for the position of “Principal” for the Dhaka campus.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop curriculum, business and operational plan, prepare annual budget, monitor progress, manage finance and ensure project completion for sustainability
  • Develop and implement necessary policies and procedures, education management handbook and regulations for the Institute.
  • Oversee maintenance of the accuracy and security of all academic records of current and former students.
  • Develop, implement and monitor effective student registration and transcript evaluation process.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate all areas of the project activities, Keep records of the management committee meetings and time to time report to top management.
  • Organize and participate on different local and international seminars, events and lead all forms of online/physical activities for collaboration which are related to branding of the Institute.
  • Maintain liaison with national and international stakeholders/ academic/training institutes/authority, Ministry of Education and other Colleges/Universities for the development of policies and procedures related to current theory, trends and legislation.
  • Smooth operations of the staffs and faculty members with development plan for the Institute.
  • Ensure maximum usages of classrooms, different labs, library, student career and development centre, hall room, canteen, auditorium, International office, and other resources.

Pre Requisites

Educational Requirements:

  • Post graduate degree in any subject related to RMG and Textile sector
  • Candidates who have the Ph.D. degree will get preference

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 15 year(s)
  • Applicant should have experience to lead international standard RMG & Textile related institute
  • Sound and in-depth knowledge in Program design, Curriculum development and Course content creation for the Textile and RMG related courses and training of the proposed international standard institute
