Job Brief
Roles & Responsibilities
Customer Management
- Ensure customer complaint investigations are executed effectively regardless of responsible department (Commercial, Operations, etc…)
- Ensure customer complaint investigations get to root cause and that corrective actions are implemented and effective
- Ensure that standard processes, procedures, and databases are utilized correctly when handling customer complaints
- Ensure customer complaints are properly communicated and escalated when required
- Ensure customer complaints are approved and investigated in a timely manner
- Conduct management reviews on customer complaint data to help identify and prioritize improvement plans
Supplier Management
- Ensure supplier quality issues are handled and addressed with due attention
- Work with the Procurement team to ensure suppliers understand and comply with quality expectations
- Support Procurement team to ensure supplier performance is reviewed with suppliers on a regular basis and continuous improvement plans are developed
- Support Procurement/GSPD teams with performing supplier audits based on supplier selection and monitoring needs
- Ensure plans are in place to ensure outsourced (“Buy & Sell”) products meet the same quality standards as our internal production
Quality Planning
- Support GSPD during new product/program launches and analyze if quality plans need to be revised
- Manage and maintain the site’s quality inspections and product release programs for raw materials, first piece, in-process materials, and finished goods
- Develop and communicate a site level quality strategy that is aligned with the global objectives
- Develop and implement internal audits to ensure global quality inspection plans are in compliance
- Implement standard global quality inspection plans and metrics according to SOPs
- Develop and maintain a process for effective collection/storage/distribution of quality documents
- Ensure all test equipment and tools are properly calibrated and in working condition
- Need to acquire knowledge of customer requirements, product specifications, and respective quality plans and align AD quality processes to be inline with customer expectations
Metrics / Management Reviews
- Ensure that quality metrics get collected and reported according to global and regional definitions
- Ensure that quality metrics get reported on time according to global and regional calendars
- Ensure that quality metrics match between the multiple reporting systems
- Ensure quality metrics and data are analyzed on a routine basis to prioritize continuous improvement
Training / People Development
- Develop and implement training plans according to regulatory compliance and employee training needs
- Ensure adequate coaching and mentoring to quality department employees on utilization of quality tools and problem solving
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an extension of the Global Quality Team or the Regional Quality Team
- Respond to global and regional requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate execution of global and regional special requests (sample collection projects, complaint investigations, customer complaint corrective action deployments, metrics analysis, etc…)
Other responsibilities as the compliance lead (SL)
- Oversee product compliance with site product compliance lead – laboratory engineer.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with Integrated management system for QMS and ISO quality management system
Pre Requisites
- B.Sc degree in Production/ Process Engineering
- Not less than 5 years’ experience in process management in a manufacturing organization
- Orientation to develop standard operating procedures
- Exposure in to Lean Management tools and techniques and capability to use problem solving tools effectively
- Exposure to ISO audit procedures and certification processes
- Ability to drive a team towards achieving targets within given timelines
- Capability of working across boundaries effectively to make sure company deliverables are met
