Roles & Responsibilities

The Talent & Organizational Development Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing leadership capability, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness across the business. This position focuses on developing people strategies that strengthen future leadership pipelines, drive continuous learning, and embed a high-performance culture aligned with company values and business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent & Leadership Development

  • Design and execute talent management and succession planning frameworks for key functions and operations.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and develop high-potential employees.
  • Facilitate talent reviews, development discussions, and leadership readiness assessments.
  • Track and analyze succession and talent pipeline metrics.

Learning & Capability Building

  • Develop and implement annual learning strategies focused on leadership, behavioral, and functional competencies.
  • Partner with business units to identify skill gaps and create targeted training interventions.
  • Lead programs such as first-time manager development, supervisory excellence, and lean leadership.
  • Measure learning effectiveness through behavioral impact and performance outcomes.

Culture & Organizational Development

  • Drive initiatives that promote an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented work culture.
  • Facilitate workshops and interventions to build leadership presence, emotional intelligence, and team effectiveness.
  • Support change management and cultural transformation programs across sites.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and implement action plans for improvement.

Performance & Engagement

  • Enhance performance management systems to promote feedback and coaching practices.
  • Build leader capability in goal setting, development conversations, and career discussions.
  • Strengthen employee recognition, engagement, and career advancement frameworks.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop reports on key OD and talent metrics such as training hours, promotion ratios, and bench strength.
  • Use insights and data to guide learning priorities and leadership development focus areas.
  • Support leadership presentations and HR dashboards for management reviews.

Pre Requisites

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional qualification such as CIPM, IPM, SHRM, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with 4+ years in Talent Development or OD within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven exposure to leadership development, organizational change, and performance systems.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
